LUDDF Winter Focus Days - Save the date

Bringing the LUDDF farm and management team to a region near you. The team will be hosting 4 events at various locations on the below dates:

• Monday 4^th July – North Otago
  1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
  Location:Awamoko Hall, Georgetown-Pukeuri Road, Duntroon

• Wed 6^th July – South Canterbury
  1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
  Location:Temuka Alpine Energy Community Centre, off Domain Ave onto Fergusson Drive, Temuka Domain
  
  
• Thur 7^th July – Ashburton
  1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
  Location:Ashburton A & P Showgrounds, Brucefield Ave, Ashburton

• Friday 8^th July – Culverden 
  1:00 pm - 3:30 pm
  Location:Hurunui Rugby Club Rooms, School Road, Culverden

The LUDF team will present the 2015/2016 profitability comparison with other leading farms.

Discussion will include:

• Over 1800kgMS/ha and 520kgMS/cow with only 126 kgDM imported feed/cow.
• Farm working expenses below $3.50/kgMS.
• What are the drivers behind these results?
• Did changes made at LUDF this season put them at the top of the profitability comparison?
• What further adjustments are these farms implementing next season? 

This will be an opportunity to discuss with LUDF farm manager Peter Hancox and the rest of the team how these results were achieved. It’s your opportunity to ask questions about what is going on at LUDF.
